I can only edit with the Green Screen visible in Final Cut Pro to get a clean edit. I am not sure which one yet, so I would need to work this out after I do the final edit in Final Cut Pro. The reason I say this is that in some parts of the video, the dancer’s body parts disappear or get lost only because the Screen Gain may be a little to high or low. more editing and that in After Effects I may need to animate the Screen Gain Settings. I know that my video needs some tighting up ie. My only concern is to make sure the quality transfers appropriately for web use. However, we all have to start somewhere and I am happy with the results. I am sure extremely experience video editors have a faster way of doing this and may find the technique I chose a little mundane. Tonight, I will explain the process that I took to get the current results. Through this starter footage, I learned some great things about Final Cut Pro, After Effects and gained some knowledge on De-Interlacing, Exposure, Rendering, BitRate for Video, Alpha Channels, and much much more. This footage will be used in the thesis as well, but I needed to tackle all the trial and errors that I may go through so that the next video editing components are a lot easier. For the past few nights, I have been using Domonique’s Performance as the workflow trial and error footage. I ran into some errors that I will need to research and some solutions. A lot accomplish tonight and notes taken to make the videos of this thesis superb.
